On dive back home from airport 5live interviewed a small cross section of Labour MPs seemingly feeling they can bring enough votes to the table to get a rehashed TM deal through.

Some fresh optimism perhaps that we can conclude this?

Someone said the other day the EU deal actually meet 5 of the 6 "tests" Labour set to approve the deal !

The hardliners at both ends of the scale are never going to buy it.....so if there is a chance, it's up to the sensible rump of both Tory and Labour to finally wake up and smell the f^^^king coffee.

5 out of 6? Which ones?

Our press 😊. Is this is a true reflection of Dipshit Johnsons 3rd day at school?

So if a person who is talented enough to make PM is a dipshit how would you categorize a person like yourself who hasn’t achieved anything near to what he has?

lol, The Prime Minister is a dishonest, useless dipshit, look at his face today lol. It doesn’t require any talent to become the PM in the way that he has. I do just fine 😊, I like surfing and skiing more than I like parading what a c*** I am to the world, feels like I’m winning 😊. I would even venture that you are probably a better guy than Dipshit Johnson, you’ll know better than me on that though.

Also, well done Horsey for conducting yourself with class earlier ✊

Ahh so no real answer. I would guess at least a few promotions from being a dipshit, what is the name for that?

Horsey deserved what he got given he popped up randomly and unprovoked with a snidey little dig (I didn’t mind if admin wanted to delete the exchange) personal circumstances are no excuse for being an arse and randomly popping up with insults/digs like he does, he knew what he was doing. He needs to learn to stop with the snidey digs, if he doesn’t he will get it again, zero fks from me tbh.

We don’t measure quality of human being by number of promotions (promoted to what??).

Horsey has class, you have none.

Promoted to dipshit........by your standards you are nowhere near promotion to dipshit Sniffey.

Anyone that pops up with random insults has no class and deserves it back, they will get it back with interest from me. If they can’t work that out and want to whine about it then that’s their problem.

I missed the exchanges earlier, I didn't know who said what, they deleted them, I guess, before I got a chance to see, but the fact that Horseys comments provoked something, shows he has f all class, just been itching for a fight. More so, The fact his initial comments were left to stand show the mod who left them is also not doing their moderation job properly either.

I am happy to engage in people insulting me who are giving us their opinions on a daily basis to thrash out why they have a certain opinion, but he is no better than one of the hired scumbag protesters that have been pushing OAPs to the floor because they disagree with a rhetoric they can't even debate.

The fact that you admire that standard is once again a telling measure of you.

Were all of these 6 tests met before we even had the referendum?

Morning,

The tests concern only a deal made when we leave, so there’s nothing prior to it to compare it to. The Labour tests can’t really be measured against a situation where we have had 9 years of Conservative led government. At least three of them though, don’t say much other than we keep our relationship with the EU exactly the same as it is now, so to my mind they aren’t entirely realistic. It is clear the EU believe that when we leave, we should lose all of the benefits of membership, I think this is entirely reasonable and I never expected anything different, many disagree......

This isn’t a great post and I’m short of time this morning. It might be fairer to say, that overall, it’s open to interpretation whether membership of the EU ensured these six tests were met.

OK, got my thoughts a bit more ordered. Membership of the EU provides the opportunity for all of these tests to be met, it is up to individual governments whether they are or not.

Can Remain explain their plan now opposition are driving the bus?

The surrender legislation gets passed and an extension potentially agreed. What happens if an extension is denied? Let's say an extension is in fact agreed and we invite continued crippling uncertainty for 'the good of the country'. We go to GE in November where clearly JCorbs can't win a majority so it would be either Tory majority or Tory/Brexit driving the bus and we're back to where we are now. Let's say it's a deadlock parliament and somehow JCorbs is driving the bus. What's the plan for negotiations then? EU won't amend WA and we know WA doesn't get through parliament. We also know that Labour won't plan for No Deal even though they criticise no plan and then criticise spending money on planning.

It's pretty easy to protest and wave flags or to chastise government for not answering questions but it's much different when you're actually in the driving seat. So here's your chance. Where's the bus going?

The plan will be a second ref with some kind of deal versus remain and hope that the people's will has changed

Everything happening this week works in Boris' favour for a GE though?
Everyone is standing in his way, vote for him, he will get the job done.
It the perfect narative for his election campaign.

No deal legislation goes through this week.
Corbyn reluctantly agrees to a GE.
Boris wins a majority.
Boris undoes the no deal legislation and doesn't ask for an extension.
