Oh no. We might have to actually produce stuff to create wealth

I guess I'm proving your point by not knowing what you mean by 'producing stuff'? Is it EU membership that is preventing the UK from returning to a manufacturing based economy?

No course not..I just don't mind the present turmoil.because out.of that we might see some kind of shift in the way we do things..So pleased I managed to avoid using paradigm shift in the sentence.

Shortbread grenadier guards...but the guards are teddy bears and the bearskins are chocolate. Think the Japanese would love those.

Home Secretary Theresa May has won the first round of voting in the contest to replace David Cameron as the next Conservative leader and prime minister.
Mrs May, who began the race as the frontrunner, got 165 votes. Minister Andrea Leadsom came second with 66.
Michael Gove got 48 votes and Stephen Crabb 34. Liam Fox is eliminated from the race, coming last with 16 votes.

Based on that she has just over half the votes anyway, how does it work now?

Top two after another mps vote get put to 160,000 members to vote. Those members are brexit, overall, so the candidate who isn't may has a shot at winning it

It's a big call for may. Does she throw 40 votes to Gove so he gets into the final 2? Goves net rating in yesterday's you gov poll of members was -20% from +4% a month ago. She may think that is a gamble worth taking rather than trying to beat a woman brexiteer who appeals to the right wing nutters. May beats Gove, May not beat leadsom so maybe she does

Is there a lot of spin involved in all the "Leadsom is awful" stories that circulated over last 36 hours? Just watched the EU debates (sad I know!) and she seemed quite competent.

I imagine May rather wants to face off against Gove in a ballot?
