This seems inappropriate for a leadership candidate: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-36771205

Legal advice from Michael Mansfield QC, commissioned by Unite, saying Corbyn should go on ballot paper automatically

if correct, lab has Ed M to thank for those rules

I am sure Unite's members will be glad to see their membership fees pissed away in this manner.

Very funny no doubt.

But is she making too many enemies if she wants to be leader one day?

I'd guess she has a pretty good idea of just how likely the Conservative Party are to elect a gay female Remainer Scot as leader.

She's also not good enough, she's pretty incompetent as a politician all good if you want a sound byte though or someone tenacious enough to never admit they have got it wrong.

ok, so what do they do? Taking eagle against a pro Corbyn momentum membership is like taking a fork to a gunfight.

How does it work with forming a new party as it pertains to the Labour MPs in Parliament? Let's say 100 Labour MPs want to form the 'New New Labour Party', do those seats automatically become New New Labour Party seats even though the constituants didn't vote for New New Labour?

I'm stating the obvious I know, but British politics are a terrible mess at the moment. It's like watching a huge multi car pile up in slow motion.

it is but t may has a nice start. All leadership opponents fall over one by one and no worthwhile parliamentary opposition for a while yet.

. They do, and did for the sdp defectees, stay in place. Much less likely to get re-elected at a gen election though as their vote would be split. Just under 100 Labour mps have a majority of less than 3000.
