Watched a good Come Dine With Me week the other day. All five episodes back to back. Two came joint first for the £1,000 and the annoying one who was convinced everyone loved her got nothing. Neither did the guy who seemed really nice until it was his turn and he started lecturing people on which wine to glug with each course.

Like a modern day morality play, that show.

Awful show.  VWP for sitting through 5 of them back to back!

Come Dine With Me is funny, and Dave Lamb's commentary is comical.

These days, some of them are The Only Way Is Geordie Big Brother Wannabes and the show becomes completely unwatchable.

When it's done well, it's a cracking show.

I do wonder whether there are many other people who enjoy watching Only Connect, horse racing and Come Dine With Me. Quite a Venn diagram, that.

If we could edit the end of that clip for him to say, "Still, dessert was nice. Seven", I would never watch anything else ever.

I was walking down the high street, it was sunny. I was looking at some old chimney pots and wondering how long they had been there.

It was market day. Busy stalls, splodges of bright colour, hustle and bustle, snatches of conversation.

A youth on a bike dismounted and fell into step alongside a girl. "I know I'm late, but I had to swerve around a lot of people."

I was Happy.

Thought I was reading the start of a novel Tom. Good stuff!

I have been waiting to hear from my insurance company after writing off my Harley Davidson. Got a call from them this morning and they offered me more then I thought I would get. Made me very happy.

Not concentrating through London a few weeks ago. ploughed into the back of a car. Car hardly marked, Harley broken forks, damaged fairing, side box, engine guards etc etc.

I'm a scooter boy now. Replaced HD with Burgman 650 scooter. more practical, better fuel economy and better brakes.

Haven't seen you for a while. Are you still playing?
