doors open at 6.30pm

looking at the structure page, suggests some day ones are turbos

http://gppt.poker/live-event/10th-18th-oct-15#9

Potential error on the info

the "structure" tab says live day 1 turbos are 15 minute blinds

but the "schedule" tab says the live days 1 turbos are 20 minute blinds

some clarification needed for anyone wanting to play

George,

i had to buy in for my day 1 via the party site, there is no option to pay cash at DTD

there were laptops, tablets at the club to do it, but if you dont have the funds in there before you go, try and remember your password and username to avoid having to reset everything (like i had to)

also, although it is advertised as £60+10, i actually had to deposit £75 to get enough dollars to buy into the tournament

Same here, £70 wasn't quite enough so needed £75.

It also wouldn't let me register for Friday's noon(9.30) flight.

Ahh, so Thursday nights a turbo, probably do the Friday afternoon ones then Smiley

looks like it, but GPPT Jamie will no doubt see this later and confirm

Hi guys,

7pm Live Day 1s have a 20 minute clock - still gives you plenty of play in our opinion and finishes up at a reasonable 1:30am

Day 1s with a 30 minute clock last 10hr 20min and not realistic for an evening leg.

Thanks for pointing this out - will get it amended on the website.

We increased the blind levels from 15 min to 20 min to give players a better experience but missed updating it in a couple of spots. All live Day 1s are now 20 minute or 30 minute clocks.

Same here, £70 wasn't quite enough so needed £75.

It also wouldn't let me register for Friday's noon(9.30) flight.

We are reviewing this as unfortunately the exchange rate has shifted against us and it is currently £71.15 to buy-in (correct on 13th October).

partypoker do not support GBP so buy-ins are in USD making it difficult for us - we are looking for a work around

I assume your time settings in EDT? if that is the case please register in the 05:00 holding tank for Friday entitled 'Oct-16: 05:00  £250,000 Gtd Grand Prix: Live Day 1 Noon Flight'

The one you are trying to register in is the tank use for onsite registrations and won't be open until this one closes.

I've finally managed to register for Friday's noon flight after discovering that I was previously attempting to sign up for the Friday noon "late-entry" flight whatever that is but I must have been too early.

Let's just say that I'm easily confused by new-fangled stuff but will now be making my customary donation so come early to avoid disappointment.

Thank you, I did finally figure out that there are two of the blighters.

Can you tell me if my chips must be in play from noon as I may be a little late?

Hi Jamie

I can be a bit slow at times so bear with me.

If I use a $109 day 1 ticket from whatever source and manage to get a decent stack a la Skalie last night then there is no point playing any further $109 Dusk till Dawn or Players Choice satellites if I cannot use it for the players choice day 1 on Saturday 17 October and forfeiting current stack makes no sense.  Please could you confirm - I had taken it from the satellite description that the ticket could be used for any future players choice day 1.

Cheers

Good stuff. Chips only go in play when you arrive no matter how you register.
