what do people think or schnederlin for 5.5 million
he could be huge or he could be a flop but the price seems very reasonable if he has a good run in team
Don't buy defensive midfielders. I know he can get forward but nah.
I think he may get rested/rotated a little with Schweinie, Carrick and Blind.
You just can't stop buying Southampton players. He's gone Iron, let it go.
Not for me, Clive.
its ok I dropped lescott and brought in a 4.5 defender with the 1 million I had left in bank dropping morgan gives
me the choise of 3 7 million mids I like the look of

Targett the only viable £4 million defender atm (maybe only first couple of games)?
Expecting to see Hazard, Hendo, Silva in lots of teams?

Think Bertrand is meant to be back sooner than expected too, as The Dazzler said earlier, avoiding the 4m defenders is he best option until any emerge. Even bench warmers need to play.
I've got the first two in my current team but haven't considered Silva at all due to fixtures and I also think Sterling at 1m less might well prove the better pick. It's interesting that the main reason people are citing to play their wildcard in GW4 or 5 is to get Aguero in. That should be doable with two free transfers I think. If I play mine then it'll be with the intention to get two city attacking players in as they're the best attacking team in the league and their fixtures warrant it it my opinion.

Atually I mentioned Triggerlips before.
He is the 2nd ranked player in the Fantasy Football Scout Hall of Fame and he's basically one of the best players in the world.
Anyway he wrote an article on team balance. He's a 3-4-3 advocate. He also pre allocates his budget to the positions.
https://www.triggerlips.com/index.php/team-structure/
9m on keepers
24m on defenders
37.5m on midfielders
29.5m on strikers
If you stick to that or close to it, you should be okay.
gk 9.0
def 26.0
mid 38
att 27
think mine is pretty close

would you consider alex oxlade-chamberlain as a 4th midfielder at £6m
could have a big season and can almost play as a second striker, but whether he plays consistently is the issue?

Too much of a rotation risk. You really need minutes on the pitch. However, if walcott picks up another injury and two of cazorla, ozil, welbeck or ramsay does, he will get additional game time but he will be limited.
I think walcott has a big season ahead. Looks to be fit now, had a season off and wenger loves him, so i do see he could be playing most weeks, either wide and behind giroud or through the middle. He will be certainly ahead of welbeck and the ox.

Well there is certainly a rotation risk.
Ox is an interesting one. I'm pretty sure I looked at him last year and he had played a part in every prem game until he got injured. And I think he was the only Arsenal player that had at that point.
Of course Walcott wasn't fit at that point and that might be why Ox got all the gametime but it's possible Ox is first choice on the right. Giroud seems 1st choice up front (plus another striker might be on the way) and Ozil is 1st choice behind the striker.
So it's possible Walcott is 2nd choice for 3 positions.
Walcott is certainly explosive when he plays but I can't see guaranteed playing time.
They are both a no from me.
