bench is boosted just by 3 points from forster if sturidge doesnt play midweek you get 7 points from sanchez (plus any bonus) coming on from your bench
Yeah incredibly unlucky that Ozil along with your Liverpool all missed out. It's given me a great chance. I didn't expect Sturridge to start today but was hoping for a sub point. I brought him in mainly for Chelsea as I think he'll be really keen vs his old team and it was an enabler for Hazard. Firmino saved my bacon somewhat which was also lucky off the bench! Expect the team for the Euro final will be the one that starts on Weds except for maybe Firmino/Coutinho and then all, or at least a large majority, rested for Gw38. Assuming no more rotations for either of us (unlikely) then I have 9(+2) to play versus your 8(+1) and you have a 1pt lead. Sooo close but guess that means the momentum is back with me - just!
Kane let me down today as he was my differential and 'Aguero cover' in the main leagues. Thought he'd be well up for it with golden boot at stake. As it stands just thankful Aguero didn't explode after his early goal.
Serious squeaky bum time in a lot of my leagues though after today - slenderish lead on the silkworms in the £100 and looking close for 4th spot in the £25 league with what looks like 3 of us fighting over that after 'the mutts nuts' has had a blinder with his bench boost.
Right now think I'd take bricking everything except the £100 league
21pts clear with effectively 2 standard game weeks to go is very catchable. It's been a fun season long sweat at the very least!
If I manage to hold on for the win in the £100 league and 3rd spot in the £50 then I'll def be adding some money back into the overal 'added pot' for next season for sure, as others have done in previous seasons, and would love to also offer a £50 spot prize too for the highest Gameweek Rank (GR) of next season of any team in any of the blonde leagues (inc brags league). As mentioned in a post last week - think that would be another great fun little side event along with all the cups / leagues etc and anyone could win it in any of the weeks. Anyway - getting ahead of myself somewhat as all still an 'if' - hold please!!!
