i have adjusted the rule in the opening post as folliows
addition in italics
In the event of a rollover (no winners left at the end of the week) we go again, another £20 to enter and go into the play offs/superbowl if necessary. the "dont pick the same team twice" rule would reset for the playoffs onwards.

I'll give this a go - the fantasy league stuff has always seemed a bit too in depth for someone with my knowledge (I'm still an NFL rec) but 'pick a team that isn't the Raiders because they suck' is something I could probably manage.
