Lads, are you looking to post for the PGA this week?

Unfortunately the elements of audit season at work and both of us having kids under 8 months is taking its toll. For the last couple of weeks and this, we've been putting our picks on Twitter but not writing them up. Shame as we're not counting these against our results and last week we backed Vegas at 125 and Sneds at 28s who placed.

This week we're considering it a ball strikers paradise and have backed Scotf, Bubba, Hideki and Kevin Chappell. Would love to have backed but just a bit too short for us.

I really thought Billy Hor just sunk that putt on 17. Really rooting for him here for you boys. Unfortunately didn't manage to get on myself as I saw the picks late.

Going to be a cracking finish.

2016 has certainly been one of those years but that Horschel putt really took the biscuit! To go 0/6 in playoffs - all on pre tournament picks - in a sport as volatile as golf is really tough to take! Hopefully we'll run a little less salty in 2017!

How he completely missed the cup from there was quite incredible.

Any fancies for SBS TOC's this week - well starting in a few hours in Hawaii?

Can't get on your website either btw.

We ended up discontinuing the site as we both became fathers for the first time last year and the additional demands made doing a write up, publishing and updating the associated pages untenable. However, I still put my selections up on Twitter and had a decent enough start to the new season before the break.

I think Spieth wins most likely this week but missed the early prices and decided not to have a bet in the end. Will be back for the Sony Open.

Perfectly understandable given the family situations but I'll miss those excellent write-ups.

I've had a small dabble on Patrick Reed who is apparently unwell, but you know what they say about injured golfers..

Thanks for the kind words. At some point in the future, I might look to get it set up again as I enjoy doing it and am still studying each tournament but it's not likely to happen this year. For now we'll just hope for a profitable year of twitter tips.

Good luck to Reed! Seems the sort to play well when ill/injured just to prove a point. Comedy that he's playing with Jason Day today who is the biggest hypercondriac in sport!
