If for a UK audience then...
Trickett - not even close for being the number one pick - aspirational Boatman - genuine legend. Been there. Done that. Kept the t-shirt. Channing - paints an unrealistic, hopeful picture of what time at a table is. Boeree - Liv, I'm so sorry to distil it down to this but "fit bird who can hold her own" Coren - proves that poker isn't a single sex or single intellect game Pleno - genuinely the best in the business. I could not be more impressed. Ian Gascoigne - obviously. All bias aside he does not give two hoots and shows the less serious side of poker. Rob Yong - has single handedly ensured the midterm longevity of UK poker. Plays better than anyone realises.
This is a great mix for the target audience. Probably needs a celeb in there to balance it a bit like Becker/Sheringham/Jimmy White to initially interest the new viewers. Maybe Albert Sap or Taff from DTD as well to add some more spice.

Yes good lost but replace me with Charlie seriously! It's not just playing recklessly, he's very entertaining to look at never mind listen to. If everybody was sat down at the table every viewer would be like "wow who is he and what is his story" I also think you under estimate how many 18-30 year olds are punting off money reguarly and like to watch poker on YouTube / facebook links etc. These thigs go viral pretty quickly. Also isn't one of the reasons these shows died because the characters they had were sinply boring and the shows didn't work?

I think you are definitely right about the under 30s. Most under 30s who i know love punting (esp on the new mobile channels any sponsor would be looking to promote) and in much bigger amounts of money than would have been the case than most under 30s when i was in that age bracket punting in shops in cash back in the late 1990s. Most of the shows died because the full tilt cash for the jollies for all the pros with their hands in the till dried up. That alongside as Stars became more and more dominant firms like Hills/Ladbrokes product fell away and saw no reason investing money promoting their dying poker brands on tv shows like they had in the past.

Is Blonde in complete freefall? Some of the threads created lately look very desperate for views to keep people posting?
As for this thread, think it's purely based on what people have won? I think mine would be based on the banter and a little of what they have won, but no pro's ty. I think the whole pro poker tv, is purely for TV.
Rob Yong - Love to hear the story of DTD before it formed Boris Becker - Stories of sports Barry Neville - Often sat with him, but always enjoy the banter Lawrence Gosney - Always good for a chuckle

Feel free to start something better. I'm sure those starting these threads would welcome it.

One of the football boys is a must imo. Neymar/Ronaldo/Pique. Neymar seems like a fun chap and is pretty much the most famous person on the planet that plays poker.

Good player and won plenty but obviously this isn't even close to true!

I knew what you meant. But you really shouldn't judge others by your own standards. I simply felt that an all female line up would be good for attracting an audience.
