I think this clashes with the Sheffield £220, which is a shame.

Just wondering what happens with Sky and DTD after this festival? Been told after the contract is up, that there will be no more Sky comps at DTD? hope this is incorrect?

Who told you that, Aaron?

"the contract is up"? What does that mean? Each UKPC has a separate Contract. So when this one is complete, on March 1st, the Contract will be up. That's how it has worked for all 5 renewals.

Negotiations for renewal 6, in August/September 2016 commenced 2 months ago & we have already agreed in principle.  19 e-Mails have gone back & forth between Rob & myself in the last 2 weeks alone. We are discussing buy-in, format, & schedule. We have agreed 2 potential dates, but need to see how those dates work with other events. Sky also need to dovetail the satelliting in between their other annual cornerstone events & ensure each has adequate time. (Las Vegas & Punta Cana). We would not want to "clash with a £220 Event", after all.

We expect to conclude negotiations before next Month's UKPC, so that, during the event, we can shake hands on the deal & get a formal contract raised.

There is no "done deal", but there's not been any suggestion, ever, that the UKPC won't continue, unless something unexpected happens.

I won 2 x$530 tickets for the UKPC satellite .... I've used one for tonights 50 seat tournament but the other is now showing as inactive..... I was under the impression I could use it in  any further satellites over the next month or so? - will it become active again when further satellites are announced ?

Hi - I posted the above a few days ago - I've now checked my account and whereas before the the $530 ticket was showing as inactive it's now disappeared altogether......please can anyone shed any light on this ?
