What time does Main Event play finish each day?

Days 1a, 1b & 1c

Play starts at noon, they expect to play 15 x 40 minute levels, with a 20 minute break every 3 levels, & a 1 hour dinner break at some point.

I'd expect play to conclude at around midnight.

Day 2

Play starts at Noon, & they will be playing 50 minute levels. They will attempt to get the field down to a Final, to avoid players (except Finalists) returning on the Monday, so this could be a late finish. It may not be possible to play to a Final on Sunday, but that's the plan.

Final Day, Monday

Play is due to start at Noon. There may be a short delay before the Final commences, so as to allow time for interviews & photographs.  Play will continue until we have our new UKPC champion.

Any cashes will NOT be transferred to your Sky Poker Account, they will be paid direct to you by DTD.

Surprised Sky Poker aren't running more satellites online for UKPC this week.

Demand is there, Party still running 20 seats g'teed each night.

It seems odd, but it's a function of the process.

Sky Poker have to send the list of qualifiers across to DTD several days before it starts, so that DTD can enter up all the details on their system, especially as to non Members. That list was required by DTD yesterday, hence the last qualifiers on Sky Poker were Sunday.

We started a lot earlier than DTD, way back in November, so there's been plenty of them.

It's a bit odd this week, as we always have at least one "away" Adventure being qualified for, (UKPC, Punta Cana., Viva Las Vegas) but this week it's a completely blank week. We did have something scheduled to start yesterday, to follow straight on from UKPC, but events outside of our control meant it had to be pushed back a week. Next Monday it is, then.......

Yup, that's the sum of it, information transfer.

It's a bit of a shame that we have a blank week this week, as maybe we could have run a few more UKPC satellites if we'd known, but we had something else scheduled, & it all got delayed at late notice, & too late to continue with UKPC.

There's a bit of a backstory to the delay, which I'll expand upon in a day or two.

Appreciate the good wishes, thank you. I'm as nervous as hell, & stressed to bits. Standard. Once it starts, everything will be fine. There'll be a blonde Live Update, too, with Tighty in the chair, fingers crossed.

The amount of behind the scenes detail that goes into these things is quite extraordinary, & might make an interesting blog, though I doubt it interests others. I bet well over 1,000 e-mails about UKPC have crossed my desk.
