The Russians are the baddies, both in global terms and in Syria. 

It is definitely a story that he undermines and contradicts his staff so regularly.  It is ok making minor cock ups, but they generally aren't.   

You get that firing the head of the FBI when everyone thinks that Trump is under investigation is massive?  In the real world, it doesn't realy matter if he is or isn't under investigation (and the FBI really can't clarify), it is how it appears.  But he does so many bizarre things that they all begion to lose their shock value.

I don't know the protocol for these sorts of things, I would just assume any discussions that are for the common goal of getting rid of ISIS would happen either officially or unofficially.
