Joe has gotta stop doing stuff like this.

FFS Cheesy

I'm going to be Joe Biden.   It is cut short and someone puts misleading subtitles up and voila.

Is that what they've done?

I didn't investigate any further, but looking forward to seeing Biden on the breakfast club. Wonder if they'll get him to do a freestyle Cheesy

Can see why they stopped him doing these dailies https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1265387794089873408

Looks like he had a meltdown today, and makes Boris look good at public speaking.

Has he demanded Twitter be dismantled yet?

I’m not sure if you’ve been following the bust-up between Trump and Twitter. As we know, Donald has run riot on there for years, throwing out anything that came into his head, with no apparent objections by the platform. The last couple of weekends have been pretty bad. One issue he has repeatedly resurrected goes back to 2001, when Joe Scarborough (Morning Joe) was a Congressman, and a staffer with a heart condition collapsed and died in the office after hitting her head on a desk as she fell. Joe was in Washington when it happened, but unfounded accusations against him have popped up from time to time since - usually by Trump lately. He used to be big buddies with Joe and Mika, but they fell out a couple of years ago. Last week he did it again, tweeting "When will they open a Cold Case on the Psycho Joe Scarborough matter in Florida. Did he get away with murder? Some people think so.”

It all kicked off. Mika (recently married to Joe) set about Trump on the show ("Donald, you're a sick person. You're really a cruel, sick, disgusting person.")  and said Twitter should be ashamed of itself. She tweeted later that Twitter should take down Trump's account. The husband of the woman who died wrote an open letter to Jack Dorsey asking for Trump's tweet to be removed. He believes there was nothing nefarious about the death and doesn’t want it being brought up all the time. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d5/Letter_to_Timothy_J._Klausutis_to_Jack_Dorsey_%28CEO_Twitter%29_requesting_removal_of_Trump%27s_posts.pdf

Twitter said it was sorry about the pain being caused to the family, but it didn’t seem it was going to do anything else about it or Trump. Next thing, it fact-checked two of Trump’s tweets about a different matter (postal voting), putting a warning on the posts and linking to a page that contradicted them. Trump blew a fuse and the next day (yesterday) issued an Executive Order that would make Twitter (or others) responsible for the content of any posts that they edit or put a warning on. And today, rather than backing down, Twitter hid the post above for the reasons stated. The official White House account tweeted it again, and it got the same treatment.

It remains to be seen what Donald will do next. He mentioned closing down Twitter, starting his own version, and tighter regulation this week. The validity of the Executive Order will probably end up being tested in Court. Facebook isn’t standing with Twitter - the wording was reposted on Donald’s Facebook page without any censure and Zuckerberg has made it clear that he doesn’t want to get drawn in.

Been following intermittently, but not closely enough, obviously  Shocked

I saw the stuff about the looters, and thought it would have been that he went into meltdown about, as it was censored. They've surely got to get a handle on him before he veers off the rails completely.

Speaking of the riots, this killing could throw a huge spanner in the works in the Vice-Presidential stakes. There are about a dozen viable candidates, but a lot of people were calling it as being between Harris and Klobuchar. Kamala started as a clear favourite, but Amy has progressed steadily and had taken over as the most likely nominee. This development is disastrous for her, though it’s not good for Harris either, and probably not for former Police Chief Val Demings. I’ll flesh it out tomorrow, but Amy must be tearing her hair out at this happening and the horrendous timing of it.

I saw a Tweet in a similar vein saying social media should not be checking facts about "serial goat-fucker Donald Trump".

LOL, that is probably something that's going to run.

Ah, just clicked now.

Will she be pressurising for max penalties for the four of them involved, or is that now nothing to do with her now?

The looting and shooting phrase is an old one that is well-known in America.

Trump says he didn't know the history of it, and is suggesting that it was an observation of what happens rather than a threat.

If he didn't know, he should have. Certainly, people around him would have known.

"You have to dominate or you'll look like a bunch of jerks"

Tweeted Donald Trump from his bunker in the bowels of The White House.
