Not sure if you can do a multi-city with Virgin, but I used Orbitz when I went London-Vegas-Denver-London, and that was easy enough to sort.

If you're just doing London-Vegas-NY-London, you might be able to put something together on Virgin?

Sorry I can't be more help.

Fly direct to Vegas.
Have a drink in 9FI in NYNY.
Fly direct to London.

Save your self some inconvenience.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is 9FI??

I am planning to do a few days in NY and 2-3 in Vegas, so wanted to work out the best way and preferbly the cheapest

was just being silly ~ ignore me.

It is a bar in NewYorkNewYork casino , Nine Fine Irishmen.  Not the worst place to have a beer.

Can't help on the split trip to east Coast, never done it on the same trip and I've never enjoyed NY so will likely never do a voluntary trip.

Just had a mess about on Virgin, and you can  do it with Virgin for just under £600.

Out to Vegas on the 11th, and back from NY on the 18th.

You'd just need to sort yourself an internal whenever you wanted it.

I have done in to vegas and out of New York with Virgin.  Think it must have been fairly easy because I lose interest if it is difficult.  We just flew Southwest Airlines between vegas and New York and it was pretty painless and cheap.  Not much more than 100 dollars from memory.  It is a few years ago, so I can't give many more details

If you want the cheapest flights possible, start in Dublin.

7th April - Dublin to NY direct
13th April Las Vegas to Dublin via London....£333. (3 nights in each or 2/4 split)

Factor in around £100 for your domestic one way, and your flight to Dublin start at £9.99 on Ryanair. Take hand luggage if possible, and then hop off in London on your return and don't bother taking the final leg back to Dublin.

Leaves more money to gamble with Smiley

you can also have your London "connection" using I flight LHR and one LGW then you will be able to retrieve hold bags and dodge the Dublin flight

So, in answer to OP's question.

Go to Virgin website.

Book your flights.
