Does Shearer have his coaching badges yet? If he doesn't, UEFA won't let him be manager.

roeder and shearer are installed as temporay managers but neither have their coaching badges so newcastle have 12 weeks to find a new manager   so not in time for erikkson

i am sure someone last season got permission for a manager to remain in temp charge till the end of the season without the correct badge

it could of been southampton after the sacked struccock but before getting redknapp

not 100% sure though

the rule is flexable

Newcastle fans won't want Alladyce, Shearer is too inexperienced and O'Neill is still looking after his wife. I'm going for Hitzfeld at 21.

Erikkson, with Shearer as his assistant

I'd love to see it, but can't see it happening!!

Does Shearer have his coaching badges yet? If he doesn't, UEFA won't let him be manager.

He's started taking them but is a while off being fully qualified, and is lacking 5 years of managerial experience. He also has far too much power at the club to be manager right now....

Newcastle fans won't want Alladyce, Shearer is too inexperienced and O'Neill is still looking after his wife. I'm going for Hitzfeld at 21.

Agreed, i don't fancy alladyce or o'neil - the joe kinears fo their time.

Whoever we 'get' I hope they choose someone who can be in charge for 5-6 years minimum... we're not going anywhere without that.

Before anyone says steve Bruce i's like to place my veto! sadly i think its probably who we'll end up with!!!

Hiddink or erikson would be my choice... Keegan being back would not build us for the next ten year - but I would enjoying going to matches again!

Can't see Keegan coming back to anyone to be honest. He said the City job would be his last and I believe him. Can't see Sven going there as would only see him going to a big club (In Europe).
Depending on the England job I would go for Hiddink or another foreign coach. But maybe they will rush through Shearer's badge and give him a go.

With Newcastles appaling back four, I reckon they need to get OJ Simpsons lawyer in to teach them how to defend Smiley

Our defence is a sham... however there are only 7 teams that have conceeded less goals than us in the league.... most of them aren't too better off than us (wednesdays resuly took us from 5/6th best!!).... show's how good shay Given has been this year I suppose.

Half Newcastle's problem is their reputation and well know weaknesses. The main issue this season has been not creating/scoring goals.

According to Sky Sports the Geordies all have their green tinted specs on and are hoping for O'Neill.

However, I hear Alex McLeish may be available soon.
