They say that T.Craig is a bit of a dark horse for the job.

Supposedly bringing him in as a figurehead "manager" while Roeder gets his papers sorted.

He could save the bookies a fortune.

Glen Roeder is being given the job now according to the news

still available in BF at 1.61

The Newcastle board are as thick as Pig shit. You just never learn.

Tell us something we don't know!

I'm staying on the fence, he has done well and we have played the best football since Keegan (apart from the fourth & third place under robson) but 13 games isn't a lot to go by.

Having said that I don't really fancy any of the other candidates so.....

West Ham fans aren't exactly the best judge in manager though - two words... Alan Pardew! Never seen so much hate towards a manager (from his own fans) and for him to now have you all eating out the palm of his hand!(and rightly so)

When waddle was in charge Roeder was the one taking charge of team affairs half way throught the season even though waddle was still classed as No1

guess who had over 23k green on tommy craig having traded him for a profit and the announcement that they had extended roeders period in charge i put the remaining green (15k) up for grabs at 1000

BUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

he is now trading at 34

still i backed him for 36 and laid him for 68 and still have a couple hundred green on him but just think if i hadnt bottled it last week

We've had 5 full time managers since 1992.... Impressive West Ham figures, if not completely underestimated! I can only ever remeber every West Ham manager being relegated with them at some point in time - even the great Billy Bonds (or did he get sacked before they went down?)

Looks like we might just have to wait and see how he does with the Newcastle job - he has the best record out of the English managers this year & is playing the most attractive football, give him the Enngland job and we'll have Big Phil!
