This man passed away yesterday. In my view, he helped to change the lives of every one of us for the better, & yet barely a soul mentioned his death.

I know a lot will disagree that he helped to change our lives for the better, & for sure, it was personal gain not altruism that drove him, but he did contribute over $2 billion to philanthropic causes. 

And many of us (me included) would not have recognised him if we had bumped into him.
