Ms McHale beat Ms Ivanovic 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-1.

Boo hoo, I'm so unlucky.

Val D'arc was one of five horses to be pulled up in a nine horse rate. Is that normal?

On a happier note for your host both Ms Bacsinszky and Ms Muguruza are through to the third round in Rome.

Angelique Kerber, the top seed in the bottom half of the draw, has just lost to Eugenie Bouchard which is good news for anyone who has one or more each-way tips in that half of the draw. Cheesy

Think these were great bets, quarter is totally open now. I actually put a bit on Bacsinszky at 33s yesterday ew which was the same price as she was before her first round match which seemed too good to refuse. To quite Hector. Kerber "cannot be trusted" on clay!

I didn't know that Hector followed the ladies.

It is a rather top-heavy draw!

Bacsinszky was 40/1 on Monday. Wink

I see no need for that kind of talk.
