Well if snoopy's last post does not do the trick, nothing will.

But that Tom Cruise lookalike - one guy told me he kinda reminds him of Anthony in Big Brother 6.

Sorry.

I should also state that when you've got warmed up at Walsall, make your way down the Gala for some proper poker. I for one have a far more entertaining time at the Gala than anywhere else in the uk. Just brace yourself for the odd quarrel.  Tongue

And who are you goin on about Tikay?!?  Shocked

I think all newbies should play their first game at Annabelles in Coventry, after that everywhere else will be like sunday school

It would be inappropriate for me to comment on the developments of this thread.
except maybe to say:

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes... That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes Wink

I understand and appreciate what you are saying.

However, that doesn't defer from the question that first arose in this thread. 'What casino should I go to?'

My answer remains the same. Go to Walsall for your debut because, as a newbie, you may find various characters at the gala intimidating.

No offense to no1, and I hope none is taken.

Snoopy it seems that you may have taken my post the wrong way.

I can and will comment on the beginners poker scene etc
i cannot comment negatively about casino customers it is unethical

and please read the joke again for it is indeed a joke.

mile away... have their shoes... funny stuff! Wink Wink Wink Wink Cheesy Shocked

Sigh, spell it out time......

Snoopy suggests going to Walsall rather than Notts because, lets cut to the chase here, Taffy intimidates & scares newbies away.

So if THAT does not make Gala bring Taffy into line, nothing will.......

Your steady flow of new Clients are now going to Walsall, because of beng intimidated by the likes of Taffy, & the smoking issue.

So I say, "if that does not do the trick, nothing will.....". The trick being, do something about it!

Hard work THAT.....

There you go, a briliant piece of lateral thinking by Red.

Just leaves the smoking to sort. Oh, & the dealers (sorry Karabiner....).

Easy, this running a cardroom lark, eh?

Ian, forget it.

We will keep Taffy. You can keep Theo.

Both lovely blokes, but talk about moan & whine..........
