I would imagine that the idea is that each player deals in turn.

As opposed to one "player" dealing all the time.

haveing only played in 1 "self dealt" tourny in my life (sunday in walsall) i have a question which dealers get paid the 20 and the free meal what happens when you knock em out, i know in walsall the person who knocks out the dealer became the dealer obviously this would lead to alot of extra 20s and meals

It's ideal for Bubble Specislists though.......

Thought you was only in for 90 seconds at Walsall Ironside?

Went to Notts last night. Good crowd on my table, even the 50 D/C cash was fun, not much moaning (I won exactly 2 in 2 hours!).

Looks like management are taking a tougher (and better) stance on abusive behaviour as one player on the final table threw a wobbly and ended up being suspended and anted away. Maybe he'll think twice before abusing the staff next time?

They suspended a player for disciplinary reasons? - magic! Well DONE Gala. All that grief was worthwhile.

Standards & behaviour will now improve rapido.

Way to Go, Gala!

well done gala hope my recent comments helped, although with the player being disqualified and suspended, the chips should have been removed from the table as he or she was removed from the comp

Speaking of Notts, anyone playing tonight?

I'm very tempted.

Thast's an interesting point Gigi.

You suggest removing the players chips as soon as he is suspended? Guess there would be two views on that, depending on how many chips he had.

I suppose it stops what would be an unseemly scramble to steal his blinds.

But I am so proud that Gala took that big step. They needed to do it, they did it. Top Marks!

It sounded to me as though the player was just suspended for a period of time rather than disqualified.

And he was anted/blinded away before his penalty time had elapsed.

Either way, a line in the sand has now been drawn. Bravo !

Bravo indeed. I'm delighted, & I'm proud they made a stand. And no, I ain't got a clue who got suspended, or what they did. It don't matter either. An example had to be made, & it was.
