Last Man Standing.
Unbelievably, we still don't lose AdamM who hasn't made a trasnfer since Gw14 (20 points)
We lose Martin Sutcliffe and his team; When Harry Met Alli who scored 23 points (-8) = 15 points.
11 left.

Yup.... 2nd time lucky......NOT
Those are the 50/50 calls that really annoy me. Have to put it down to plain bad luck.

LastMan Standing.
Down to 10 now. All active teams, all shaping up well.
We finally lost AdamM and Shiity City. It seems not managing your team for 14 weeks can only get you so far in a tough league!

Last Man Standing.
It wasn't close really. We lose Eoghan Lyons 'Wamble'.
He isn't a blonde member, he was a blow in that Dazzler recruited from elsewhere.
Means the LMS money will stay on Blonde.

Mixed feelings about my return to form this season.
Currently sitting at 552 in the world I'm back in the sort of position I used to be when I ran this comp on blonde and used to win it most years (2010-2013 - Pre Dazzler) but because of my gambling/poker addictions I couldn't afford to buy into the £50 & £100 comps at the start of the season, both of which I'd be winning with ease

Wow, nice ranking. How many points behind first are you? And do you have many chips left?

I have been railing you this season Brent. Mainly because I have been trying to convince myself I am not just playing for 2nd in the £10 league.
Good luck on your charge up the OR now I am resigned to not being able to catch you.
P.s. You are a lucky sod ;-)
Your bench this week was fully utlised and littered with unexpected points!!

haha I know. I spent most of Saturday afternoon fuming that Kyle Walker wasn't playing then it turned out McAuley came in and scored 8 points at Old Trafford! Very fortunate.
I have a wildcard and 2 of my 3 chips left. I used triple captain when Aguero faced Sunderland & Stoke in a double. Hoping to beat my 458th overall finish in 2012/13 but not going to be easy.

You should do it!
I have my AOA, BB and WC all to use as well and i too had Aguero for the TC.
What happened last week or week before where you had Aguero as sub 3? Was that an admin fail??

Yeah was wasted when I did my team and it was in my head that I'd transferred him out so didn't see him.
Second big mistake of the season. Luckily didn't cost me too much as he only scored 1 and 0 bonus points.

This got me thinking about my overall rankings, I knew I was fairly consistant but didn't realise how much. My season follows the same pattern pretty much every year, start absolute garbage and then come through the field, I'm doing the same again this season predictably. It's definitely getting harder each season as more players use the available resources than before.
I'm still trying to forget 13/14 but my favourite year was the time Blatch made up a book and put me up @ 25/1, I was totally raging but managed to get him to lay me $100. I obviously thought I'd had it when it all blew up but he paid up to be fair.
Season history
Season Points Rank
2008/09 2,005 20,098
2009/10 2,285 24,088
2010/11 2,062 28,428
2011/12 2,214 3,716
2012/13 2,185 16,917
2013/14 2,189 326,395
2014/15 2,140 28,045
2015/16 2,307 2,275
