Hi Kev,

Provisionally, I'll take 2.5% please.

Most of the schedules for WSOP time in Vegas are announced in March, a few, such as Binions, April. Venetian will announce in March I imagine, & they run a very comprehensive series with buy-ins to suit all tastes. Lovely place to play poker, too, proper posh.

The Daily Deepstacks at The Rio might interest you, too, they get thousands of runners & are at affordable prices, usually 3 a day with different price points.

There's a very useful thread on 2+2 run by a guy who made the WSOP Main Event Final last year, Kenny Halleart, & he does a spreadsheet of all decent poker festivals in Vegas during May/June/July, it's worth bookmarking, as it's just what you need.

One thing you are going to gave to get used to is the Rake/Reg Fees on MTT's in Vegas - they are very steep, even 20% & 22.5% is not unknown, with 12% to 15% being normal. That's just how it is, like it or lump it.

Fly to Vegas 2 weeks by the pool by day , bar hop n get a couple of hookers to the room by night
No bad beats there mate

I'd be more likely to take a % of this. Sounds like fun.

I think I offered a pkg on the staking thread a few years ago as a leg pulling / tongue in cheek post ! But got no takers Smiley

Hi Kev,

The Venetian schedule has been announced;

https://www.venetian.com/content/dam/venetian/casino/poker/deepstack/2017/DSE_III_2017-Schedule.pdf

And the WSOP schedule is here;

http://www.wsop.com/tournaments/

Schedules for the likes of PH, Aria, Wynn, Binions, GN etc are still awaited, but the WSOP & Venetian are the big two, around which you should build your schedule.

Thanks Tikay, will check that out.

Does any1 have any idea about the situation is with casinos issuing a tax exemption for uk players?

Few articles saying casino's can't but wsop  saying they can?

I've only seen this mentioned in the passing, but no actual stand alone thread. If wsop is correct, wonder if they could issue it to someone once registered, eg even if they do not cash. Which could then be used in a cash in any non wsop event.

If you cash for over $5000 you will require to go through the process of acquiring an ITIN number or you are subject to 30% deductions.

DONT ACCEPT ANY MONEY UNTIL YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH THIS PROCESS WITH THE CASHIER  . once you have your number its good for 5 years

Depending where you cash determines how proficient they are . The Rio for example  (that houses the WSOP events) is very knowledgeable  whereas the Venetian and and the likes of The Golden Nugget are extremely hard work.

It took me 10 days with The Venetian to receive my number in which time I had gone home , however having left the correct details the bank payment came through promptly ( this happens a lot )

The bottom line is if you follow the correct process you will receive the whole of your money its just a case of when

Hope This Helps

Hey Fraser,

Do you think  by simply playing a WSOP event, if asked, they would be able to issue an ITIN?
