Rose 14/1  1/5 1-6

He saved the day last week....heres hoping

Looking good when you see who is around him Trev.

I had backed Tapio, the Fin having watched him for a few holes at Wentworth, came out fast yesterday, but felt like half the field went passed him as the day progressed.

Certainly one of my favs events, and a dream to play in it as an Am.

Disappointing how Justin works himself into a good position then fades, seems pretty standard with him nowadays

Big Tony finishes weakly again to enhance his record of only one professional win on the two main tours.

Gobby McIlroy complaing that the courses are set up too easy in Europe compared to the US as he shot -15 and only finished ~30th.

The average winning total on the US tour is ~266, the average winning total on the European tour is ~270.

Standard of golfer on the PGA is much stronger than the European tour so it will be lower.

I don't know for sure but i would also hazard a guess theres more par 70s on the pga tour.

Rory just seems to have a lot of beer with the European Tour these days but hes not coming out of it with much credibility.

3 years for that?  Seems incredibly harsh, it isn't like he launched himself into the crowd Cantona style or smashed up the greens Sergio style.

There’s a piece in the Telegraph sport section today comparing the punishment here with the lack of action against Sergio Garcia who has a very long list of offences that have gone unpunished. But then, Sergio is box office...
