Ronnie = sheer genius.
Commentator - He's brilliant with his right hand, he's brilliant with his left hand and he's brilliant with the rest. Mrs Red, (totally serious) "How many hands has he got?"

Is Dennis Taylor becoming the Peter Alliss of snooker comms?
I just discovered that Willie Thorne was recently axed by auntie after thirty-odd years on the firm.

I forgot to mention that after our snooker match Ralph fed me in ox tail and taters followed by ice cream. Delicious!
I bet they don't get that at the Barbican.

If O'Sullivan wins the first frame, what price should Murphy be?

Murphy is 7/4 or 15/8 pre match, so not much different - maybe 2/1?

I know they've just started but every frame seems to have exaggerated importance.

I think Ronnie told Dennis Taylor in no uncertain terms where to stick his circle.
