Marky , just out of interest did you hit 147 in the past?

my top break was 32 lol, 4 reds 4 blacks, think i got 20 ish once or twice before that

seem to remember reading your dad had a club , how about karabiner and red dog ?

i played pool too a decent level for years, i reckon anyone who can regularly hit 50 breaks + on a full size table has enjoyed a misspent youth.

Haha, I wish Cheesy

Hit a 147 in line-up, which I'm sure most decent players have. Had a couple tons practicing, but never in comps. Highest in a knockout comp was 86 and had a few 70s in the local league.

I found booze & rugby right around the time I was getting to where I could have been good.

Won the local league individual comps (U21/25 open/h'cap) at one time or another in my teens and 20s.

I never made 100.

I was on 90+ once and I needed to pot a straightforward black off it's spot and hold position for the final red. The chance of breaking 100 was making me feel a bit twitchy so when someone walked past I got up from the shot, had a drag of my fag, wiped my hands on my trousers, got back down and potted the red to a cry of "Foul".

I'd completely forgotten I was on the black.

That was my one and only chance. I never got to 90+ again

Bet that was annoying at the time, but what a story to tell Cheesy

Some of my friends are, or were, really good.  One of them won the Welsh Amateur about 10 - 15 years ago, and has had a few maximums. He never turned pro though.

FWIW my highest break is a 66.

What a come-back from Jack Lisowski.

Final frame decider coming up.

I think my Lady Godiva ew on Yan might have been one year too soon - superb cueist.

Don't think I'll be getting 80/1 again either.

Funny, but maybe a touch harsh.

I've seen a few YouTube highlights and the canned applause is f**king painful.

Also am I the only one who finds elbow touching an utter joke? Notwithstanding the fact that it looks ridiculous surely a fisting is better than an elbowing anyway? What's the furthest you can possibly stay away from someone whilst touching elbows?

The danger is cross contamination. How often do you touch surfaces with your knuckles?

That's going to make it pretty niche viewing.
