Has Higgins still got that place in Spain?

Can these two still be grinding out finals/wins/performances like this into their 50s?   I never thought they would still be doing this at 45 10 years ago.

Most likely they can, because everything Ronnie said a short while back is correct.

My first ever snooker bet of my life (and my biggest bet of my life at the stage ) was £40 on Hendo to beat Jimmy at evens in the 1994 world final.   I met Hendo as a kid in the Leicester branch of 'The Sweater shop' (one of his big sponsors in that era) they had a prime location shop wise in between Limey's and Benetton and just around the corner from Pilot where all the footballers used to shop.   Great days.   Whatever happened to that brand?

https://twitter.com/cjob500/status/1127542954757898240/photo/1  Look at this for a picture from the glory days.  Ralph will be able to name them all.  John Higgins looks 12!

Don't know if you are talking of Pilot orthe sweater shop.  But Pilot got squeezed, as it sold other brands and didn't really have their own USP.   I remember Paul, their old FD talking about it years ago.  He found his own niche here.

Pilot went down a few years after he left.

Pilot was a stand alone high end clothes shop in leicester.  Founded in 1984 and still going amazingly according to their website.  I was talking about the sweater shop tbh.   Just seemed to disappear in the 90s
