Wonderful news, well done David.

Thanks Tony and Bergeroo earlier.  Certainly a hell of a ride for a 150/1 shot.

Wow! Didn't realise she was 150/1 at one point.

Konta paying for the 10k plo8?

I was punting very early.  I watched her in the Fed Cup at the copperbox and saw a couple of other games and just sensed she had moved on from last year.  I should have rung up and tried to get more on.  You could get 170 on betfair at the time, and it was on clay, so think they'd have let me.  I wanted the each way, so didn't bet on betfair.  I was limited to 20 each way, so not quite the 10k PLO8.  Might upgrade the flight though!

I've just watched the rerun of Konta's match and she played at a level way beyond anything I could have imagined.

If she can repeat that standard of performance I reckon she's both a shoo-in for the final and favourite for the title.

Great shout, whatever happens.

They only let me have a fiver e/w on, but SW on me if she wins.

Red 8 if she makes the final Cheesy

I read it early and laughed, then took some time to watch h a bit and got on once the big ship had sailed. I am on the lifeboat, but it's still an amazing spot and confirms what we all know about how good Doobs is at this punting malarkey.

Good luck.

ooh.  Konta won again.  This time beating Vondrousova, who has been on fire this year (and started favourite).   I had a bet on Konta for the French Open the other day.  I think there is still some 80/1 e/w about, and this result should put her in the seeds.

Thanks for this. Remembered i stuck a fiver on at 100/1 too so decent sweat Smiley

It's looking like a perfect storm for Konta now that Halep's gone.
