Worth staying up for!

working today, so just watched it as live.  awful these days trying to avoid the result.  Even then got timing tells off amazon prime, so was pretty sure there would be only 2 sets followed by the guff after.

Loving it.

This final is what women’s tennis has been begging for, for so many years. At long last a brand new generation of young, talented, fearless players. I’m completely torn about the final: Canada vs GB. To be honest, though, my heart will be with Fernandez in spite of my  ~40 years in England, but I will be absolutely delighted for whoever wins. Trouble is, I think I’ll have to watch it at Luton G....

Whenever I don't stay up for Boxing/UFC, I always ignore my whatsapp/twitter/fb until after I've watched, as it's otherwise impossible Cheesy

I'm glad it isn't just me that gets annoyed about getting spoilers from when it shows the duration of the match on Amazon Prime! Hate it.

My tried and tested hi-tech method is to use my hand to block on the screen where the duration is when you first start to play the match. After about five seconds it then disappears from the screen. Then you can't pause of skip bits, you just have to watch the whole thing through in one go, but the duration never pops up again so you don't know how long is left.

Well done Emma!

Good news for those like me who don't have Amazon - Emma's match will be shown live & free-to-air on Channel 4 tonight.
