Tempting to back her to win the lot next year but she's 18, is about to get the tabloid treatment and will win SPOTY. That's a bit of a whirlwind at that age.

It has to be one of the greatest sporting achievements there's ever been surely? It's genuinely absurd what she's achieved.

What is her World Ranking now?

Presumably, she's now British #1?

Think she was at the semi final stage.   She is top 25 i think now with nothing to defend for ages.

23.  Her, Cori Gauff, Swiatek, Fernandez. Big changing of the guard.  Serena can't win another slam now?

We'd all have prob been on at 500/1 if he was.

Top man, is Mere, so glad to hear he's still about, even if absent.

Watched the second set and the pres ceremony.

Have to say the brilliance and composure of both these women at such a young age was just brilliant to watch and loved their interviews during the presentation

12/1 best price for the Australian Open.  Only a few days ago I was looking at the US Open market and thinking 66/1 was a bit skinny and lamenting that I couldn't even get close to that.

Only Osaka and Barty ahead of her in the betting.  Can't see why Osaka would be ahead of Barty in the betting, you'd take Barty in a level bet, wouldn't you? ... and there must be a significant chance of a no show.

i am shocked at how few fans turn up for the ATP and WTA 250 events

by the time you take out the journalist the backroom staff and the officals i think the only people buying tickets
are the betfair in-play traders

Isn't a lot of that due to Covid? We are now waiting on our 3rd year for the Nottingham Open (this year, some people did go, bu they operated at much reduced capacity).  Think it really depends on where it is.   You seem some crappy small events and there are barely any seats even if anyone rocked up.   Can't really see how the organisers turn a profit.

FWIW Queens and Eastbourne are bigger, but sell out in the later stages.  We went to the Fed Cup a couple of years ago and that must have filled the Copper Box.  Wimbledon is hilarious normally, but it was quite easy to get tickets for the main courts this year.
