I'm not sure a prop bet should have EV taken into account. Its supposed to just add a but more competition and fun.... Jeez armchair players these days.
I mean seriously, I don't sit there and think hmm will it be +EV to have a little side bet with the blonde community.
You should be playing to win, and making correct decisions, an additional 200 or whatever wouldn't come into my thinking when making a decision.
I have no issue with betting, I do it all the time. I join fun comps here quite a bit and will happily mess about in fun poker comps with mates.
I just think last longer bets are very bad. If you are trying to win a bet with your mate, then that can become more important than the big prize. I know this happens, as I used to do them in my early days. I can't remember the last one I did. Combining a last lomger with a comp with a million up top seems really bad to me.
Rewarding nittiness is very unappealing in a fun bet, it seems more of an anti-fun bet.
