You must be on his latest vlogs (DNegs), have you watched them to see his thought process?

Will do! (I was assuming they would all go up sometime this morning?)

$10000 pot limit Omaha hilo

On my big blind, Schulman min raises to 4k. I have . I actually think about repotting to imply all in, as I feel strongly that min raise is his weak open there.

I call. Flop is  . He bets pot (8k), I fold

$10000 pot limit Omaha Hilo

Schulman raises to 4k, I have   three clubs Two Diamonds CO and make the slightly strange (but imo correct) decision to just flat.

Flop is (nut low draw with double counterfeit protection, almost no high value)

He bets Enough to put me in. I run the numbers- any A, 2,3,4,5,7 makes me low, so there are 21 cards in a 45 card deck. It makes me about 70% to make low, which gives me about 33% equity on the low side (a small amount taken off given I could get quartered if he shares my nut low). With an ace, backdoor straight and flush draw, I must have enough high equity to have the 36% overall equity I need to go with it. I move in, he calls.

He has AA98.

Turn is (now I scoop with a club or chop with a low card)

River is

Split pot. 24k

$10000 pot limit Omaha Hilo

I have three clubs and decide to limp cut off from 19k. Button and Schulman in the big blind come along.

Flop is Two Clubs (nut low draw with complete protection, 12 outs to a straight, back door flush draw)

It's the monster flop we wanted.

We have 17k into 7k. The standard would be just to pot, and go with the hand, and that's obviously fine. But I feel sometimes that's too easy to go with, and there may be a better option. Despite so much equity, we still want folds, and the best possible spot would be to get a turn fold after a flop call.

So I actually decide to bet 3k into 17k, to leave a situation where we have 14k into 13k on the turn. We may get a bluff through on certain turns, and if we do hit the great cards, there is always the option to check behind, to have the double chance of the out of position opponent either leading or check-calling.

Button folds, Schulman calls.

Turn is Two Clubs . Ouch. He checks

Once again, the standard would be to just pot move in. However, he for sure won't know me, and I think I can get away with something a little fishier. I bet 6k of my 17k, to try to sell that I am ultra strong, which would be a flush and good low draw.
I still also think, that even with a top player like him, the poker psychology can still work, that it is more difficult to move all-in than call all-in.

He folds. 38k

Not only am I out of the PLO8, a bizarre turn of events had led to me going to a baseball game with Tikay.

An update, just to include the $300 bounty collected in the $1k turbo bounty:

Cashes- $221,506
Missed events- $27,000
Penalty refund- $750
Bounty- $300

Extra events $55,000, the four potential 10ks were added. The 10k limit holdem was added as new, as was the $5k satellite to the $50k

Total is therefore $221,506+$27,000+$300+$750-$55,000, so

Total- $194,556

Total guaranteed profit is on the $113,750 original investment, and so is $80,806
