Allegedly a player was using this device https://vimeo.com/121971288 and was colluding with a dealer and there are allegations that other player were involved. Casino confronted player last night let him go before cops arrived. |

how does the bent dealer mark every card to tell the machine which card is which? Given the pit boss should change the cards every hour or so? Doesn't really make sense. What do the cards get marked with individually and where?

I would be very suprised if they supervise the custody of the cards to a high standard - this is a casino that doesn't provide dealers for poker tournaments. The insider takes them out of the casino, marks them and reintroduces them. He could have introduced dozens of packs.

The dealer has to introduce the "cold deck" via the old "switcheroo" as per The Sting railway carriage game The new crooked deck has a bar code printed on the side of every card which is read by the villains "'phone" placed in front of him and transmitted to said villain's headphones. |

The DTD live stream games use a similar deck to identify the cards as opposed to rail-cams etc. IIRC.
