Judging by the reaction on social media, I'm not alone among our fanbase in feeling utter disgust at the way Stendel has been treated. It's unclear whether he's been sacked or has quit himself, but absolutely no-one can blame him for having the rug pulled from under him this season.

Seems a fair enough statement to me if the facts are correct. A club should want to appoint a management team who can work well together. If one cog becomes unavailable then i get why they might want to pull the plug totally and appoint another 'team'.

I think Parkinson is a pretty good manager, not sure I'd be bringing him in to play attractive football mind (as claimed in one article I saw).

It says something about the long-term ambitions of the club that they couldn't tempt away Mark Robins or Gareth Ainsworth from their positions at shambolic Cov and shoestring Wycombe.

I wouldn't have them on my mind for promotion markets in L1. Their squad is way over-rated anyway.

I was just catching up On Macc Town and came across this from earlier in the year.

#CreweAlex were the third lowest payers in league two to football agents last season.

In a table published today it showed the Alex shelled out just over £10,000.

#Bury and #MacclesfieldTown were the lowest spenders.
