I think I know the answer to this one but I entered a feeder to a 215 thinking that was a qualifier for the 200 at the weekend. I now have a 215 ticket but I can’t use it for that comp! Any way of switching tickets to PP Live Dollars? Or do I need to try and win a 225 PPF Live dollar game?

they are not the same. Always read the "read more" link

generic satellites feed into standard partypoker MTTs

PP LIVE Dollar satellites have their own tab, and it is these you need to play to win sums for the live series this week

Morning Rich,

I completely understand you don't want to go into full spam-mode on here, but I don't think there's any harm if it is restricted to one or 2 threads, & especially when would-be players are confused.

So, 2 questions for you. Not "traps" & not stirring any pots, just genuinely interested.

1). Am I right in saying I can't just put £200 in pound notes in my back pocket & wander down to DTD & play one of these "Live" series things?

2) How did something so simple end up being so complicated? For instance.....

1) correct, its a series specifically for holders of the partypokerLIVE Currency, satellites to win these have been running for over a year every day

2) its not that complicated, or shouldn't be. Chris has played a satellite into partypoker's normal range of MTTs by mistake

PP LIVE Dollars link https://www.partypokerlive.com/en/ppl-dollars

We have satellites on partypoker at:
$5.50 - to win PPL$50
$22 - to win PPL$200 (1 in 10 satellites)
$44 - to win PPL$200 (1 in 5 satellites)
$109 - to win PPL$1000 (1 in 10 satellites)
$530 - to win PPL$5000 ((1 in 10 satellites)

$44 one in five satellites now have 10x PPL$200 GTEs

sums won do not expire for two years and can be used for live event buy ins across the partypokerlive range and used for expenses incurred too

Thanks Rich, appreciated. Still not sure I get it, & why they can't just have regular Super-Sats, but I'm sure the penny will drop eventually.

GL with the "Live" thing, hope it goes well.

because typically super sats are to a specific event

these allow you flexibility of what event to choose, and not just buy ins but to use what you've won on expenses occurred to, repaid into your partypoker account

Effectively a sort of alternative form of what 'Stars & other sites might call "Tournament Dollars"?

Live T$ but with the added facility that the T$ can be spent not just on tournament buy ins

Rich - the sat I player was in PP Live tab. It’s probably a feeder to the 215 game within the PP Live pyramid.

I found the fact there was MTT sats in that tab highly confusing, although I am easily confused.

I would tend to agree. I will pass it on see if it can be simplified from a lobby perspective

Sigh! There are no PPLive$ comps at $215. I have to use it to play a game for a $1,050 ticket. Any idea what comps I can use these tickets for? I don’t see a target to be aiming for

the $215 ticket sounds like a partypoker satellite ticket, for use for qualification into online MTTs

Thanks for your help Rich. I now have some dollars (thin).  They are sitting in inactive tickets on my account.

Do I just need to turn up on Saturday and they will take from account? They don’t appear in my PP Live account.

Last question I promise!

PP Live dollars are not held in your partypoker account

You need to log into www.partypokerlive.com with your partypoker details

If you don't have one set up a wallet and PIN and your balance will then show there

You can then use your balance to buy into DTD comps at https://www.partypokerlive.com/en/ppl-dollars/casinos

or do so at the cash desk

According to the DTD site, $73k overlay in the $200k main event and a further $45k of overlays during the rest of the week. Obviously entirely their call but any or all of HU sats, letting locals buy Live$, PLO sats for PLO comps may have reduced those somewhat.
