$1,500 super turbo bounty

It's actually not turbo at all at the start. 300-600 now, drifted a little sadly, 17,000 in level five.

$1,500 super turbo bounty

Blinds are 500-1k, I have   on the button and the cutoff raises to 2,500. I have 13,500, and a big decision.

I call, and we go four handed with the blinds.

Flop is the wonderfully uneventful three diamonds .

He moves all in, I call, they both get out of the way

I now assume I have Just wasted everyone's time and am getting it in against the overpair to nines that I should have got it on against pre-flop.

The legend shows Two Clubs (guess the pre-flop decision was right).

He gets the three diamonds Two Clubs turn that he  he deserves. Thankfully she doesn't get the river.

$10,000 Pot limit Omaha

LoJack raises to 1,800. I call  on the button. Big blind comes along.

Flop is  . Not the best for Queens. Checked round.

Turn is three diamonds (I pick up potential outs to second not flush and nut straight.

LoJack bets a small 1,500 into 5,700.

Hmm. I definitely feel I should raise. He surely never checks AK on the flop. He definitely can check AA or KK. It's a small problem that he can have Adxd combos. And of course a problem that my story is not consistent, given my flop check. I decide to fold

62k

Stu, why not call?

Is probably right,  I guess I get a rare almost guarantee of an honest action from him on the river.

$1,500 pot limit Omaha hilo

Cheers Tommy

So, today's tournament is a beautiful one. Really big field, great fun game and great value.

It's actually single re-entry. Therefore, I think it's right to be not overly but slightly liberal with the first buy-in, as getting a stack is worth so much

3pm start

WSOP queue update

They have been very brave to put on what must be the biggest 3pm field on the same day as a massive field super Holdem event.

Main queue- Ridiculous
Diamond queue- Slightly less ridiculous
Payout queue- I thought I could use the trick of cashing in the previous cashout ticket, to get into a smaller queue. It did work, but not spectacularly, even this one is long.

Will be in soon!

ha, was in main queue ( ridiculous).  Got there 10 mins ago, but retreated to Starbucks to recover.  Figure if my stack goes in play, I get to start on 248bbs instead.

Cheers Knotikay.

David Levy limps HJ. He has played 70% of hands. Small blind checks (it's 100-100), and in the big I have

. I think it's close. Obviously a strong PLO high hand is never a very strong hand in PLO8, but given I won't match up badly against Levy and I can probably get the SB out, I do raise the 300.

Flop is . Nice (his low draws are now only backdoor, and a 9 is the blankest card in the game)

I bet 600 into 700. Levy calls .

Turn is three clubs. I bet the full 1,900. He calls.

At this point, it feels he basically must have spades. The only ways he doesn't is 1) he has a six, low draw and probably clubs, or 2) He is slowplaying a 9 or house. But he pretty much has spades.

So the river is not good. It is three clubs .

I check, he checks. That seems good news. But he does indeed have spades. He has .

It's definitely "interesting" from him. To be honest, every step is, but definitely the river check. I can of course have the nut flush, but I don't think it would be standard to check it. And I'm very unlikely to have a house. If you do indeed have to check a flush behind if you make it, it can't be right to call a pot sized bet on the turn.

25k starting chips is a great amount. 22k
