$3000 limit six max

OUT. 22nd. Had 11k, had to fold until my 5k BB. Obviously then have to get it in in any circumstances.

CO raise, I put in my 11k, he has

Dead by turn.

Thanks so much guys. Really gutted about this one. Obviously more good luck than bad luck, but shame it couldn't come out in the wash differently today.

I'll take a quick break and enter the last event on the schedule, the $3k NLHE

Thanks again

$3000 No limit Holdem

Into the final event on the schedule. Half way through level 5, it's 300-500(500)

Table looks tough. Recognise Martins Adeniya only, but the rest look good

$3000 No limit holdem

Three pots so far. Two small. One not small.

Pot 1

At 300-500(500). I Raise hijack to 1,200 with from 20k starting stack. Cutoff calls, Martins Adeniya  makes it 4,200 on the button.

I'm definitely considering it, but the small blind takes away the decision by moving in for 15k. Martins folds.

Pot 2

SB limps, I have in BB and make it 1,500 total. He calls, and folds to 1,400 on

Pot 3

At 300-600(600), and a new, more promising table, I have . I raise to 1,600, button calls.

Flop is Two Diamonds, and we both check.

Turn is the beautiful

Two Diamonds .

I check, he bets 1,400, I raise to 4,000, he calls.

River is Two Diamonds

I bet 10,500 of my remaining 14,000. He says all-in, I call.

He has the . Obviously an interesting pre-flop peel, but a brutal cooler after that

I've now got 41,000 from 20k starting. Let's go

$3000 No limit holdem

Bluffed one. CO raises to 1,700, I call from the big blind.

Flop three clubs. I checks, he bets 2k, I call

Turn three clubs . I check, he says "check" fairly definitively.

River is three clubs

Somehow his definitive check on the turn made me think he had more likely J or K. And if he has a J or K, obviously he only has a diamond roughly 25% of the time.

There's a perfect candidate to turn you hand into a bluff, and it seemed he might be close to that; one who will fully understand that when you call the flop, you must end up with something on that runout, but who will not  anticipate that you have some things that you want to turn into a bluff here.

I bet 4,000, hoping it would induce the conclusion "well he must have a diamond " and got a tank fold.

$3000 No limit holdem

Hmm lost a bunch on spots that I think are sigh, but probably standard.

Down to 21k

Pot 1

Raise at 800BB UTG1 to 1,800. CO three bets to 5,200. He seems decent, but very steady. He has my 38k covered. I mean, it's just always a call. It's a bad get in, when it's nearly 50 bigs UTG1 Vs CO. It's not a fold, and it's not a three-bet fold.

I call, flop is

two hearts

I check, he bets 4,500. Obviously you can never be at all certain, but this is just a fold. It would seem no bluffing range, only a slight fear that he for some reason has bet JJ.

Pot 2

I raise blind on blind Vs decent player to 1,800. He calls

Flop is three diamonds. I bet 1,800, he calls

Turn is three diamonds .  Both check

River is three diamonds .

I bet 4,500 into 7,200, and it turns out a value own as he has .

Hmmm. I think he has more eights than queens after his turn check. I think he can sometimes have a 9. And obviously if I check, I will either have to pay off his queen value bet, or have some fear of being bluffed.

Pot 3

I raise CO and fold to a 14,200 shove from the SB.

$3000 no limit

Sadly, out. Ouch, that was a downfall that seemed fairly grim but I think was almost unavoidable

The only close one was...

Button opens at 800bb to 1,800. He has 17,500. I had done nothing out of line on either table- and this was significant as I had actually followed him from one to the other. He had made a couple of tight folds, and significantly, done so face up (given all that that implies)

I made it 5,000 with , and he actually snapped "all in". Not the best timing for my first out of line action

After folding an orbit, I was down to 14,400 at 500-1000(1000). I had on the cutoff, moved in, and ran into the of the small blind.

No sweat on three clubs

And that, sadly, is all she wrote.

End of package

Guys thanks so much. I want to thank you for all the enjoyment, and for the privilige of playing all these events.

They say to sell action to spread the variance, but in a way, it has only increased the pain for me. Everyone has been so supportive, that it's only made me wish more that it could have gone well, and that, in particular, we could have turned it round today.

Countdown begins til next year. I, for one, can't wait.
