$1,500 Omaha hilo mix

Thanks so much guys.

Table looks interesting. Cosineau, Lisandro, Ivo Donev.

10k PLO8 actually starts today. A great event. Hopefully we don't play it.

$1,500 Omaha hilo mix

Four card pot limit

I have  Two Clubs in the small blind at 300-600

Lady raises to 1,500 from 10k. I think alot about putting her in. I just call. Nice English guy in the big blind (who I think Tikay called Nick?) calls.

Flop is . I'm probably going to get it in, but the one thing happens that means I dont.

English guy leads, lady moves all in. I fold

She has AA32, English guy has .

Lost the min I guess

Four card limit

English guy raises UTG, Donev calls SB, I call BB with

Flop is . I bet, both call. Great news.

Turn is three diamonds. Donev leads. This is bad news. I just about call.

River is three diamonds . Donev checks. That's great news. There's no need for me to bet though.

He does have it. two hearts

$1500 Omaha hilo mix

Cheers shipitgood

Five card pot limit

I am in the cutoff have the curious hand of    .

(The negatives obviously no low, and a wasted card. The positives obviously the blocker element)

I think it's a fold before the cutoff, and a raise thereafter.

Both blinds call. Flop is

. Not too bad.

Checked to me, I bet 2,200 into 3,600. Big blind says "pot," and seems confident. Fold

$1500 Omaha hilo mix

Four card limit

Not nice

Hijack raises. I have     . I two-bet. It turns out he has three clubs. He (completely inexplicably) three bets.

I call, to reduce variance.

Flop is two hearts. That's beautiful for Aces with a poor-ish low.

I check raise, he three bets. Ouch. At this point I think he very often has the other two aces. Standard call anwyay, especially with second nut backdoor low.

Turn is two hearts . Nice. I check call.

River is two hearts . Bad card. I check, he bets. It's now a terrible spot, but it's just about a call at 9-1.

Then we see the AT73. Ouch

$1500 Omaha Hi-Lo mix

Four card limit

Nice one.

I have   in the big. HJ raises and I re-raise.

Flop is three clubs. This is fairly nice. The fact that he doesn't raise my bet makes it nicer.

Turn is three clubs . That's not a good turn. I check.

He bets, and bets again on the river of

three clubs

It's not good. I don't think he bets KQxx turn and river. There is a chance he is trying to get me off the aces that it looks like I have. It's 7-1. I think he's good enough to try to take me off aces, and do so with the hands including a T,6 or 3, thus giving him more bluffs.

I call and he says "you're good." Phew.

29k first break

$1500 Omaha Hi-Lo mix

Five card pot limit

I have    , and 29k.

Donev opens CO to 3,000. I re-raise pot to 10,500

Flop is . ( I have aces, gutshot, backdoor spades)

Not a great flop, not the worst. Donev moves all in.

It's 18.5k to win 59.5k. I have to call- the added equity of a gutshot and a Backdoor flush draw seals it.

He has my best news. Just an open ender. AT743.

Turn is , and were safe (apart from a K to split it) with the nut straight.

59.5k
