Think we should stop the season here and just relegate whoever's in the bottom five now.

6. The River Thames is the longest river entirely in England, what length is it in miles? 215

KarmaDope 215 – 0
Rubbish2407 212 - 3
bunnydas8888 200 - 15
Cf 200 - 15
Ironside 200 - 15
TightEnd 250 - 35
sonour 180 - 35
MintTrav 280 - 65
bergeroo 145 - 70
nirvana 139 - 76
Tal 137 - 78
jakally 120 - 95
Arbboy 115 - 100
ripple11 105 - 110
Juperjiper 100 - 115
Karabiner 99 - 116
Dacorb 60 - 155
celtic 54 - 161
stribling 49 - 166
4KSuited 575 - 360

Incredibly, KarmaDope sells iPhones, whilst watching De Niro films, in a shop on the River Thames! Not such a good round for 4KSuited but Cf and Bunnydas8888 who are also in the bottom 5 have good rounds and could see some progress.

3. The number of Primark stores in the UK? 191

TightEnd 200 - 9
KarmaDope 200 - 9
Dacorb 180 - 11
MintTrav 172 - 19
jakally 22 - 29
Rubbish2407 225 - 34
Tal 150 - 41
sonour 150 - 41
Arbboy 135 - 56
Ironside 120 - 71
stribling 108 - 83
4KSuited 105 - 86
Cf 100 - 91
Juperjiper 89 - 102
ripple11 88 - 103
bergeroo 86 - 105
celtic 86 - 105
Karabiner 39 - 152
bunnydas8888 600 - 409
nirvana 3900 - 3709

A blow up of extreme proportions by Nirvana is the highlight of the round, overshadowing good shooting by TightEnd and KarmaDope. Bunnydas8888 also won't be happy with this one and he'll be joining Nirvana in the bottom 5 no doubt.

2. The distance from Dundee to London in miles? 471

Ironside 480 - 9
bergeroo 444 - 27
ripple11 444 - 27
Rubbish2407 499 - 28
TightEnd 500 - 29
sonour 500 - 29
KarmaDope 500 - 29
nirvana 440 - 31
Arbboy 435 - 36
celtic 511 - 40
bunnydas8888 520 - 49
jakally 560 - 89
Dacorb 370 - 101
MintTrav 365 - 106
Tal 350 - 121
Karabiner 319 - 152
stribling 627 - 156
Cf 700 - 229
4KSuited 725 - 254
Juperjiper 200 - 271

My hometown of Dundee all the way down to London, the other city that I've lived in, albeit briefly, is a total of 471 miles. Some trek. Ironside does a flip flop and goes from the worst answer on the first question to the best answer on this one. A lot of other scores under 50 which is good going. Not so good for Cf, 4KSuited and Juperjiper who in one way or the other underestimated the difference.

Scores

Rubbish2407 - 30
KarmaDope - 31
Ironside - 32
TightEnd - 32
sonour - 32
------------------------------
nirvana - 38
celtic - 40
Arbboy - 42
ripple11 - 42
bergeroo - 48
bunnydas8888 - 62
jakally - 90
Dacorb - 107
MintTrav - 121
Tal - 123
-------------------------------
stribling - 164
Karabiner - 166
Cf - 242
4KSuited - 256
Juperjiper - 285

Some familiar names from the sporting board at the top after two questions with only 2 points separating the top 5. Rubbish, who was desperate for the reveal to begin, takes a 1 point overall lead. Could potentially already be a long way back for the guys in the bottom 5 who are 41 points behind the next player.

Scores after Q6

KarmaDope - 41
Rubbish2407 - 195
TightEnd - 201
bergeroo - 282
sonour - 308
-------------------------------
Arbboy - 316
Ironside - 319
jakally - 386
celtic - 409
ripple11 - 475
stribling - 532
Dacorb - 585
MintTrav - 605
Juperjiper - 640
Tal - 665
------------------------------
Cf - 690
bunnydas8888 - 894
Karabiner - 1056
4KSuited - 1122
nirvana - 4173

KarmaDope continues to smash it up with a 154 lead from Rubbish2407 who has been solid throughout. TightEnd and Bergeroo take up 3rd and 4th, with Sonour reclaiming a top 5 spot after a few question hiatus. Arbboy drops out of the winners' spots but, along with Ironside, he's not far behind. Again, the bottom 5 remain the same although there's some movement within them with Cf closing in on Tal and Juperjiper.

7. Number of countries in the world? 195

sonour 198 - 3
Karabiner 199 - 4
Tal 200 - 5
TightEnd 200 - 5
Cf 200 - 5
Ironside 200 - 5
KarmaDope 200 - 5
Rubbish2407 205 - 10
celtic 175 - 20
4KSuited 175 - 20
jakally 220 - 25
bunnydas8888 170 - 25
MintTrav 228 - 33
ripple11 235 - 40
bergeroo 238 - 43
nirvana 241 - 46
Juperjiper 300 - 105
Dacorb 320 - 125
Arbboy 362 - 167
stribling 408 - 213

A bad round for the leader KarmaDope as he scores 5 points! An impressive amount of players scoring 5 or under on this question with Sonour (3) and Karabiner (4) the most impressive. Cf continues his bid to exit the bottom 5 with another low scoring round. Not such a good round for Stribling who could drop towards the bottom 5 and Arbboy could have put a severe dent in his top 5 claims. Shout out to Nirvana who has been performing solidly since blowing up on the Primark question.

Scores after Q7

KarmaDope - 46
Rubbish2407 - 205
TightEnd  - 206
sonour - 311
Ironside - 324
------------------------
bergeroo - 325
jakally - 411
celtic - 429
Arbboy - 483
ripple11 - 515
MintTrav - 638
Tal - 665
Cf - 695
Dacorb - 710
Juperjiper - 745
---------------------------
stribling - 745
bunnydas8888 - 919
Karabiner - 1060
4KSuited - 1142
nirvana - 4219

KarmaDope extends his lead at the top with his continued impressive performance but Bergeroo and TightEnd are in a great battle for 2nd and are definitely still within striking distance of the leader. Sonour maintains a top 5 spot, with Ironside climbing back in there. Lower down the table, Tal moves up a few places and Cf notably jumps out of the bottom 5, Stribling takes his place (below Juperjiper on alphabetical goal-difference order). Ripple11 and MintTrav are solid in the middle of the standings, neither flirting with the top or bottom 5.

8. Lionel Messi was the highest paid sportsman in the world 2019, how much was he paid that year ($m)? 127

KarmaDope 125 - 2
Rubbish2407 125 - 2
nirvana 120 - 7
TightEnd 120 - 7
bergeroo 140 - 13
jakally 150 - 23
Cf 100 - 27
Arbboy 100 - 27
sonour 100 - 27
Ironside 100 - 27
ripple11 160 - 33
Dacorb 90 - 37
Tal 170 - 43
Juperjiper 65 - 62
bunnydas8888 200 - 73
celtic 53 - 74
stribling 51 - 76
MintTrav 205 - 78
Karabiner 49 - 78
4KSuited 450 - 323

Footballers fill out the top 3 in the Forbes' list with Ronaldo in 2nd and Neymar in 3rd. Canelo and Fed filled out the top 5. Notably, Messi also had the highest salary (before endorsements), tied with Canelo.

8 questions in and still no slip up by KarmaDope as he wins another question. Nirvana flirts with the top spot for this question with the rest of the better performances coming from the title contenders. 4KSuited looks to be chasing Nirvana for the bottom spot.

Scores after Q8

KarmaDope - 48
Rubbish2407 - 207
TightEnd - 213
bergeroo - 338
sonour - 338
----------------------------
Ironside - 351
jakally - 434
celtic - 503
Arbboy - 510
ripple11 - 548
Tal - 708
MintTrav - 716
Cf - 722
Dacorb - 747
Juperjiper - 807
----------------------------------
stribling - 821
bunnydas8888 - 992
Karabiner - 1138
4KSuited - 1465
nirvana - 4226

Two questions to go and KarmaDope needs a minor blow up but question 10 in particular could be volatile. Bergeroo didn't let Ironside have his top 5 spot for long but that looks like a good battle. Bottom 5 remain the same.

9. The biggest ever UK lottery win was in October of last year, but how much was it (£m)? 170

bunnydas8888 170 – 0
ripple11 172 - 2
Tal 175 - 5
KarmaDope 165 - 5
celtic 160 - 10
Ironside 160 - 10
sonour 160 - 10
Rubbish2407 155 - 15
stribling 136 - 34
TightEnd 120 - 50
Juperjiper 109 - 61
Cf 100 - 70
nirvana 98 - 72
Karabiner 79 - 84
4KSuited 85 - 85
MintTrav 62 - 108
Dacorb 60 - 110
bergeroo 57 - 113
Arbboy 49 - 121
jakally 45 - 125

He may be in the top 5 but Bunnydas8888 nails this question with Ripple11, Tal and KarmaDope (obv) also scoring very well. The plus 100 scorers maybe went with the National Lottery, forgetting the EuroMillions. Bergeroo was one of those, has he ended his top 5 dreams?!
