Doubt Grosvenor would spunk  tens of thousands by sponsoring David Haye a couple of weeks ago if they were planning on pulling the plug on their poker operations.

So, I know there are no plans to date for DTD to reopen. Does anybody know if there are any casinos in East Mids which will be open from 1st August offering cash poker games?

I think Gala (now Grosvenor but always Gala really) is opening 1st August. Used to have 1 or 2 cash tables running most nights, but no idea if they will be offered when they reopen.

G Casino reopening 1 august casino wise but they stated on twiter that poker cash games won't be offered from that date but no date was given.   Live mtt's weren't even mentioned in the tweet.   Can't see those happening this year or maybe longer (or ever again) at low rec stakes.

I can't really see much difference between BJ and poker if cards and chips are used.

I might move back to Malta!  What a year 2007/8  was for drinking and gambling and strip joints whilst pretending to be a trading director for an online firm!  Would love to do Malta without having a 12 hour a day job!  It was mental with one!
