Is anyone planning on venturing to a Grosvenor on Monday or at some point next week?

Yeah, next Friday all being well. I'm dropping my mate's mrs and her friend off at a pub somewhere, then going to the casino with him for a punt.

Hopefully not knock too much in before they meet us at the casino hammered Cheesy

Ha! Sounds like a good plan to me!

I'm hoping to play the tournament in Luton on the Sunday depending on how work goes Saturday night

Looks like you have to book online using the app to play the live tourneys - I'd be booking in but I can't remember my membership number...

Rather annoyingly tournies you have to book in person, but you can use the app to join waiting lists for cash games.

Apparently you can register for a tourny any day to avoid the disappointment of turning up & it already being full.

Ok - go it - thanks. I didn't see that - so do you know if you have to register and pay? I can see it being a load of people registering and not turning up otherwise....

Yeah as far as I'm aware it's you have to buy in. You can't just register 'interest'. Because they have caps on table numbers they want actual bums on seats!

For cash games I'm not sure how it works, i think they will hold your seat for a set time before giving it to the next person on the list

Cash games you register your name using the app and they hold your position on the list for a set amount of time (I think it's one hour) to allow you to get to the venue and check in with the floorman, and you keep your position on the list when you arrive.

If you don't check in with the floor within that one hour you get booted from the list. If you're top of the list and haven't got there when a seat is open, they give it to the next on the list.

Why are human beings such morons? What is the point of smashing up the smoking area?

Probably makes them feel like they have achieved something in their wasted, unfulfilled lives.

Haha, we had a good night actually, and wasn't that far off from a normal night in the casino.

Well, that's a lie as we actually won Cheesy

We're going again in a couple weeks to give it all back.

Ha! Sounds good.

I've been to  Luton a couple of times & like you said, almost like a normal night out. Although I haven't gone on a Friday or Saturday, so not sure how busy/what that's like.

Imagine it'll be a bit busier, but nothing too manic at the moment.

I think most people had been semi-normal living before they opened up, so it wasn't like shackles off lets go mental.

I'm looking forward to Sky getting their poker tour back on, so I can hit Brighton and donate a few £225s to the prizepool Grin

Hopefully we'll be there soonest Smiley
