Main Event

Finally a nice squeeze spot and nice bluff spot based on the reads present themselves.

Peel from SB vs Spanish guy PFR, and probe

Partly to bluff heart river (basically, he bets his heart combos flop, and the takes away so combos for an UTG1 raise)

Which arises

two hearts

5.2k into 8k wins it

79k

Seat 5 raises HJ. Due for a 3bet vs him, comes with

He check calls a standard size bet

Perfect for an overbet in this spot

Main Event

Open QQ HJ, semi-rec peel button, Spanish grinder squeeze to 6.6k

All very complicated, but short story...I 4bet to fold. To 13.5k. BUT fold, Spaniard call.

JT3r

He checks, I bet 12.5k into 30k.

He folds. I decide to show QQ. He says AK. Won't be lying.

Nice

Up to 102k

$10,000 Main event

Puke

Biggest decision of day

Raise A9 black BUT vs BB. BB is good but not OOL

A66 ss check check

A66 9 ss dd, he checks raises 2k to 8k. Call

A66 9 ss dd Qx. He bets 18k into 20k

I fold.  It feels right

- I maybe should have checked the turn, he fumble checked it

- I obviously can pile the river as a bluff. Close.

- He had ordered a beer that he was half way through.  I actually read this as significant , but the other way round. Indicated to me someone that was happy with his day, and wasn't looking to pull a big one before the end of it.

Regret is maybe not pulling the massive bluff myself on the river.

Not sure.

$10,000 Main Event

Bagging 88,900

Meh. Played well all day, but I missed the big one.

I have to find the massive bluff, on A669Q, when he check raises turn and fires river. Its the Main, and he's good; he's not calling a 6

Need to forgive myself and take the day as a whole, but sigh.

Sunday 12pm restart

Schedule

So, we have enough for one $1.6k bullet and four $1.1k bullets (we of course may not take them all) for some Friday and Saturday combination of

- Definitely the $1.6k at Venetian, 11am tomorrow. Will enter around 1pm

- The $1.1k 6pm turbos at Wynn Friday and Saturday

- The $1.1k Venetian 11am Saturday

Well done Stu

May I ask why it’s more likely for you to have a 6 than him?

You raise BUT, so won’t he defend BB with various suited combos that include 6’s?

Or have I misunderstood the hh?

Ah sorry, explained in a hurry.

It's not that I'm more likely to have a 6; that I'm more likely to have the nuts. So.. if I do move in on the river, after he check raises the turn, and barrels the river, what we're now repping on A669x is Aces full, and 99 full. So, his sixes become a bluff catcher. And, there's a very good chance that:

1) He won't have the hands that have to call, which are 66,99,A6, because we block them

2) He'll ulitmately believe us for the AA/99 that we are repping, because we rep it well.

I'm not certain that I should have bluffed. You never know when someone will have K6 and sigh call it off. But, if I could have the time again, I think I would have tried it.
