Watched the nice chap on my right go on a card rush for a seat
Down to 80k at 1.5/3/3 in 6 mins
Can I use my one time here
Not sure if he did use it , fortunately I was at the other end of table but to be fair he was surprisingly mellow for a change .

Tikay I believe your mate leif force is the first to get to over 150k
89k 1/1.5/1.5 now
Chips flying in but feels like I haven’t seen an ace since Xmas
283 entrants , reg closed
27 seats + residual 8755$
100 left
Morning Rob,
That was a great early morning read, thanks.
Leif still got the dodgy hair? Not surprised he's doing well, he's crazy aggro at times.

Had a Beenie or similar on
And yes . I do recall busting his decent aces in the Venetian years back level one when I used to gamble stacks early more often than these days
Think I had a shitty high only that sucked out

Big key pot
Just b4 break
Longest tank of my trip
Don’t have time to write it out so will later or tomorrow
But down to 69k
Back to 2/4/4
45 left 20 places left plus 8755 to 21st
Weird situation . Think I have to gamble shortly but our table isn’t particularly deep.
Time to get lucky some way or other .

Edit . Battery nearly gone
40k
6 seats and residual
Average is only like 80k as they take the greater than 150ks out for landmarks out of play
Weirdest end to a tournament I’ve ever had
So strange
Break - there are 3 stacks smaller than me
But it’s 5/10/10 blinds - I’m sb
Hand for hand

Ah, congratulations. Decent result even if you don't get the seat

Awesome stuff. Nice to see an active poker blog. Although I don't understand the hands I enjoy reading about them.

Thank you all
My biggest live win in 11 years I think
I’m not shocked that I woke up at 7am and didn’t feel like I’d get back to sleep as still buzzing
So decided to go for a celebratory breakfast at eggslut in cosmopolitan
The truffle hash browns are ridiculously good if any of you ever venture there
Cashed out the winnings on way back when zero queue after restocking on snacks at cvs
Seriously would have played hour or 2 cash if tables were running but nothing happening at 8:30am, so back to bed now to try get back to some form of normality
I’m absolutely exhausted again and the strain on my eyes is bad
No chance at all that I’ll play aria plo or horse at mgm today
I’ll try do a summary of the end of yesterdays tournament later or tomorrow, let’s just say it was weird for now.

congrats on the cash . thanks for the regular write ups. am in same boat as mohican, i dont understand the mixed games at all , but enjoy the read. all the more entertaining for me when white russians , bloody marys , multiple bottles of piss water (corona)are involved when playing for 10k .
play quite a few satellites online, can always see everyones stack in lobby , so quite often its straightforward decisions near the business end. must be bit of a nightmare live, maybe its all displayed , or its just a case of trying to keep track of other tables. if its just 3 tables left i guess its easy enough, but in mega satellites it must be tricky.
anyway , best of luck for rest of your trip .
