Wow. This heads up confrontation has surpassed the 90 minute mark.
Good for poker, bad for the bags under my eyes.

Joe raises 20k preflop. Called.
Flop =
check, check
T =
check, check
R =
JG bets 20, AJ calls with
...
which wins, because JG had raised preflop with 2-7 off.
Quote from Paul... "That's not in the rule books'

Soon after, both players see a cheap flop of
check, check
T =
AJ checks, JG bets 10k, Paul raises another 50k, Joe calls.
R =
check, check
JG =
AJ =
Paul said ,'You made a bad call on the turn'
(ahem)

I'm sure Jen just said, 'They've gone to the loo for a chat.'
Hmm
Anyhow, they're on a short break now.

They're back, and the heads up pendulum has swung back in favour of Joe Grech. Paul is reduced to one stack of chips - although they are all the top denomination 10,000 red chips, so that should be a comfort. But it's funny how a big wall of chips always makes one feel secure. In any case, Joe just took down three in a row, none huge but momentum appears to be on his side, for now.
