Its a great heat guys.

Banter, bluff, blonde hair and blondepoker shirts. Some very aggressive play by my hero Brian Wilson and a great piece of speech play along the lines of, you know that i know that you think you know.....

And a great result.

Had to laugh when Greg had the 4-7 and won a nice pot and a patient game played.

Brian,
I am still trying to figure out that last move with the pair of 2's. Any thoughts on reflection?

this for me was the turning point in my game. - i needed some chips and was getting low.  Robert had been chip leader and lost alot of them and i could sense he was getting impatient.  I called with 4-7 as he only min raised it and i knew if he had a big hand and i caught a flop, i could trap him for the lot. - he bet small again on the flop, so i called again for the same reasons- i actually put him on AA or KK as he had been making bigger raises before and all of a sudden he bets small - it looked like he wanted action so i gave it him.  If i don't improve on 4th and he bets again i get out.

Well played Greg, I thought u done extremely well, changing gears at the right time.

I just wanted to pass comment on Jani Sointula, I have seen him a few times in these televised tourneys and do sometimes question what he is all about. As Lucy pointed out he limps in to hell of a lot of pots and gets himself into trouble a hell of a lot, giving himself difficult decisions and folds. I cant really pass that much comment as he has won a hell of a lot more money than me, but does anyone else feel that he is not quite on par with a lot of the other scandys. Maybe he made his mint playing fixed limit and is finding it harder to transfer. Any views?

What did u find his play like Greg? I cant remember if u were in many pots with him.

Im just watching it as I skyplused it last night. Just seen Brian getting most of Patriks chips, was so funny to see his face when the Rokkie (sporting a blondpoker cap) turns over 54 off for trip . Junior is playing well and looking cool on the box, as is mr cool himself Goodwin. Its the best poker show ive seen for a long while and wish I had watched the heats before.

Jani did come in for a bit of a pasting on the commentary. I guess sometimes limping in can pay off and sometimes it doesn't work. I like the odd limp now and again, but not too often.
I did enjoy last nights show for a mix of good and bad plays. I think there is only one heat left now, a semi and then the final.
