Rob Yong is OUT -

After dropping right down to under 3k in the last half level (sorry no detail about how exactly that happened) he found a young Mateyboy on his right raising in position.  He was even more in position, and what's more he had  , so understandably pushed all-in for the rest.  After a little think, the lad called him with .

Flop:
Turn:
River:    and with that perfect hit Rob was striding away, understandably a bit ruffled.

RED-DOG is OUT

with 3 limpers, Tom raised to 1k with Q-Q and received 1 caller.

With the flop coming 8-9-4 with two hearts, his opponent checkek and Tom bet 2k.

Mateyboy then reraised to 7.5k.

Tom moved all-in.

Mateyboy celled the extra shrapnel and turned over T-J.

River = 7

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

He smoothcaller a raise preflop with

Flop = Two Clubs

Stewart checked, OR bet, Stewart moved all-in, OR called with

A pre-exit RED-DOG.

His opponent's in the doghouse now after that suck out.

and RED's probably barking mad.

I wouldn't worry too much if I was his opponent though, his bark is worse than his bite.

When I asked RED how he felt, he said 'Ruff... ruff, ruff.'

Aaaaaah, it's been a long day.

I've found the cause of Rob Yong's disgruntledness (other than the fact that he's out) - the vast majority of his chips went in a few hands previously when he had  (as they tend to) against  .  The Queen was promptly spiked pushing a huge pot to his pre-flop underdog opponent, and there were too few chips left to him to push off his eventual eliminator.

Probably not the best time to say this, but a big happy 38th birthday to blonde's favourite moustached man, Mr Tom 'RED-DOG' McCready.
