Maid Marrion.

Mr Gibson says that he's clucked off with losing 50-50s.

Up to 33k, but just lost a 13k pot. A-T v 9-9, but Nick made the move.

My maths therefore tells me that he's on 20k.

Easpickings here, just recovered from my exit! Good luck to all Blondites remaining, and to the Brummie Bandits at Walsall tonight! It was nice to put names to faces of many of the Blondites.

Sorry I couldn't get a result for the Bandits lads!

Nick Whiten (pictured below) is up and about, but not out.  I asked him how it was going and he said, "Getting there...up to 9,000 now."  It appears that after an early drop to 5k he has been grinding slowly upwards, and looks pretty satisfied with his performance, to be honest.

He was checking on Simon Trumper at the time I spotted him, who himself had dropped to 1,400 chips and was in the process of pushing on the button with  , called by a losing  in the big blind to double him up to about 3k.  "I never give up," says Trumper.

Success story of this level so far has to be Xuyen 'Bad Girl' Pham, who having stayed relatively stable on around 14,000 must have been really involved recently to be pushing the 50k mark.  One of the chip leaders at the moment!

Also doing well are several Irishmen (much to the delight of antesup) such as Len Collins and Kieran Walsh (both over 40k) and a very nice gentleman called David Bagheri who bluffed tikay off a big hand earlier and then laughed about it with him in the break in a most delightfully wicked way...
