This glamorous lady with the extraordinary multitonal highlights is Manuela Seliger, one of a couple of ladies still left in.  No backwards opinions on the ability of women players needed at this point, silly beagle - underestimate the girls at your peril!

They look like they just won the lottery!  Marvellous to see such high spirits after a tourney exit.  Being able to take the downs with the ups all in your stride is clearly a valuable talent.  Laughter is the best medicine anyway.

I almost got Bad Girl to sign a 'I promise to give 100% of my Monte Carlo winnings to snoopy'.

Unfortunately, she turned the page over at the last minute.

Bah.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

They're up and running again, and that just reminds me how hungry I am.  So we're chip counting in shifts while I carefully consider my next snack.  It will be hard to follow this morning's strudel, however.

Pictured below is young Sebastian Skuja, an early chip leader today who is still right near the top with 81,000
