Hi gang.

The 500 Euro (1 rebuy) is off and running.

Players start off with 3k in chips with 25/50 blinds.

Due to the lack-lustre performance of the Brits in the Main Event, we need a score in this one to save face.

tikay, julian, John Hewston, Be4Matt, AlrightJack, are among the runners, not to mention several other Blondietes.

watch this space for updates.

I would imagine there would be more interest in this one sloopy

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Interesting hand from RED-DOG's table.

Tom raised preflop with queens, which was followed by a call, raise, reraise, and an all-in.

RED and the other caller folded.

The remaing hands were 7-7, A-A, T-T

T-T hits a straight.

Big TK's Tommy Kremser's right hand man is also called Thomas. This is Little TK, even though he isn't that little, but he's still littler than Big TK, who is bigger than both Our TK and Little TK.

Anyhow, Little TK has just stepped in for Big TK, who is watching over the main event. Some player threw his cards across the table after losing a JJ v 99 battle, causing Liitle TK to sin-bin him for 10 minutes. Our TK was pretty impressed with this and asked me to report it, suggesting that if every tournament director took Little TK's 'no mess' attitude, then the cardroom would be a much better place to play.

Even I'm confused now. Too many TKs.

This HAS to be the first time that tikay has accurately reported his chip count to me.

Normally I have to divide his answer by around ten to get his actual chip count.  Therefore, I thought he had 1k when he told me had 10.

I was amazed to glance over and spot his huge stack.

See, miracle can happen. Don't give up the dream guys, these things DO happen.

Got a pic of tikay here when he was raking in the chips (making a neat call against Joe Grech - who is now OUT) but he's dwindled from 11k to just 3k after failing to laydown QQ when someone had AA... still smiling, though.  But not as much as in this photo.

Also OUT is Brian 'The Rookie' Wilson, who says, "I'm out fast.  Again."  But to be fair, this time his big pair was outdrawn by a smaller one, all in preflop.

Also OUT (wow I am the unrelenting bringer of bad news) is Jon Raab, who was backed for this tourney (no rebuy though) and was looking forward to playing.  After an all-in outdraw with the small blind and Q2 on a K Q 2 flop - the big blind had K 8 and rivered the 8 - he's back in update corner recovering before he gets back to work.
