Very well done Jen, you have created a whole new fan base for yourself.
However I think some of the reporting might make more sense if the betting were described accurately. When you bet and someone raises you, that is a raise not a re-raise. A re-raise only occurs if someone raises the raiser.

Pre-flop, a bet is a raise, it's a raise of the blinds, the initial bet.

The reporting is top notch  thumbs up Now how is Tony Chessa doing?

Done nothing wrong and got mullered by a bad player.
Hello blondies,
I'm kinda thrown off by this comment, Dustin is not a bad player, far from it. And i can't find anything wrong with his play in this hand. I know how it feels to bust out with the rockets in this tourney(same way i was sent home last year), but in this hand both players played the hand reasonably well and only the cards are to blame. Better luck next time Jen.

Regards

The amount of the big blind is considered the initial bet preflop, so the first person to increase that amount (as the big blind did here) is making a raise. Any raise after that (such as Jen's) is the first reraise. So the reporting was accurate. Smiley

I've put as much thought into poker terminology as anybody else out there, and have had lengthy conversations with other reporters over some very small subtleties of tournament reporting.  Smiley

Hi Mr..

I think because Jen is an over-whelming fan favorite on here (and rightly so), emotions kinda ran a little high when she got knocked out. Anyone who follows online poker knows that someone who can take Ivey for over $100k and Jdags for over $200k cant be considered a bad player! Just put it down to emotive forces acting against the better part of valor.

Congrats and ul Jen

I agree with you Mr Mistereggen and that was my point earlier.

We're just coming to the end of the 15 minute break, but during the brief hiatus, I spoke to Gwibbo about a big hand he played against the Frenchman at the table, didn't get a name, sry.

Martin Wendt raised preflop, Frenchieboy calls, and so does Nick with pocket jacks.

Flop came 7-5-3 with two spades.

Martin checks, Frenchieboy bets, Nick calls putting him on eights, nines, or tens.

Turn brings an ace.

Frenchieboy bets 18k, Nick calls, convinced that his opponent doesn't have the bullet.

River brings a ten.

Frenchieboy pushes in 60k.

Nick almost called with his hooks, but mucked at the last moment, perhaps thinking that Frenchiboy had tripped up with the ten.

His opponent showed Q-J for just queen high.

Nick seems to be kicking himself.
